Hui Ling is the business. Her name, her face and her own voice had to come before any list of services.
Hui LingMaternal wellness · Personal practice website and shop
The website for Hui Ling, a maternal wellness specialist and IAIM infant massage instructor. It introduces her the way she would introduce herself, then leaves the next step to one WhatsApp message.
Hui Ling Maternal Wellness is the practice of Hui Ling, a maternal wellness specialist and IAIM infant massage instructor who works with mothers and fathers through pregnancy, postpartum and early parenthood. Potadot designed and built its website in English, with an online shop and an Articles page. The home page works like a first meeting: she says hello, explains what she believes, shows how she can help, lets other mothers speak, and closes with a WhatsApp button.
Hui Ling’s work began with botanical skincare for babies and children with sensitive skin, which grew into Rare Botanicals. Motherhood then took her deeper. She trained as a prenatal and postnatal therapist, a lactation counsellor and an IAIM infant massage instructor, and later in NLP and hypnotherapy.
Today she offers one-to-one care, classes and workshops for parents, and talks and collaborations for confinement centres and clinics. Her four KindTouch products are sold through the same site.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding and recovery are private matters. Before booking, a mother wants to know who will be caring for her. So the site answers that first, then makes it easy to ask a question.
Hui Ling is the business. Her name, her face and her own voice had to come before any list of services.
Hands-on care, classes, collaborations, a shop and articles all sit under her name. The site had to keep them together without reading like a directory.
Breast care and recovery after birth are sensitive subjects. The words, drawings and colours all had to stay calm and respectful.
A mother with a newborn has little spare time. Asking a question had to take one tap, with no form to fill in.
Hui Ling sums up her work in one line: “To care for the woman while she is busy caring for everyone else.” A site with that belief should not open with a menu of treatments. So the home page follows what happens when two people meet: a hello, a little about her, how she can help, what others say about her, and how to stay in touch.

“To care for the woman while she is busy caring for everyone else.” It closes her story on the About page, and it set the tone for the whole site: speak softly and put the reader first.
A sprig inside a tall oval, drawn in thin line. That line carries on in the branch beside her name, the round drawings on the cards and the branch in the footer.
Her work began with botanical skincare, and KindTouch comes in deep green and off-white packaging. The palette stays close to that world: warm white, oat, clay and a deep olive.
The turquoise pool in the opening photograph is the only loud moment. After it the page settles into warm white, thin drawn lines and a fine serif.

The sprig in the logo grows into a full branch, drawn in the same thin line, beside her name and again in the footer. A small flourish sits under the main headings, like a signature.
Each service gets a line drawing in a clay ring: hands around a bump, a flower, a mother feeding her baby. A private subject is easier to approach as a drawing than as a photograph.
One bright band, a long stretch of warm white, then the deep olive footer. The bar above is the real home page, to scale. The long quiet stretch gives the reader room, which suits someone who came to be looked after.
Follow a mother from the first hello to the shop. Each stop shows what she sees, and the note explains why it is there.
Her name in large serif type, her title, one line on what she does and a single button, all over one photograph.
Why Written as “I”, the first words tell a mother she is dealing with a person, and the name is the first thing she learns.
The next chapter is a simple portrait at a table, with one sentence on what she believes and a button to her full story.
Why The pool sets the mood. This photograph lets a mother see who she would be meeting.
Five cards describe the services in a sentence each. Tapping a card opens WhatsApp with that service already named.
Why A mother does not need to work out how to phrase the question. She picks the card that sounds like her, and the first line is already written.
Nine reviews turn in a slider, three at a time on a computer, each with a name and five stars.
Why Until now Hui Ling has done the talking. Here the visitor hears from women who have been to her sessions.
The About page lists nine qualifications above a carousel of ten certificates.
Why This is care for pregnant bodies and new babies. A mother should be able to check the training, and here she can read it for herself.
Work With Me splits into personalised care, parent education and workshops, and professional collaborations. Each card has its own button and its own WhatsApp message.
Why A mother, a father and a confinement centre want different things. Each finds the right card, and Hui Ling can tell from the first message what they need.
Four KindTouch products sit on the same warm page, under three “Shop by need” buttons. Each card shows the price, reviews and an add to cart button.
Why The shop keeps the same serif, colours and rounded corners, so it feels like part of her site and not a separate store.
Name, title, one button
Her face and her belief
Each card opens WhatsApp

The list, then the certificates
Three cards, three messages
Need buttons, then add to cartA busy mother is likely to read this on her phone, so each chapter changes shape for a narrow screen.

The pages look simple. Underneath are the parts a practice built around one person relies on.
Service cards and Work With Me buttons open WhatsApp with the words already written, so Hui Ling knows what each enquiry is about.
WooCommerce runs the cart, the account login and the product pages, so care and products stay under one address.
Ten certificates sit in a carousel on the About page, and each one opens as a full image.
The Articles page names five topics, from pregnancy to motherhood, lists her latest articles and ends with a WhatsApp button.
On the shop page, a pop-up offers 10% off a first order in return for an email address.
Home, About, Products, Work With Me and Articles each have their own page title, and the site’s code names the organisation behind it for Google.

Who Hui Ling is, what she offers and what a mother wants to know before that first WhatsApp message.
We shaped her story and services into short sections, keeping her own first-person voice.
Palette, type and line drawings came first, then the pages, then the shop, all for phone and computer.
Page titles, Google data and a ready-written WhatsApp message for each service set up, then launch and support.

We worked out the concept, shaped the content, designed the pages and built the site, including the shop, the Articles page, the Google setup and the WhatsApp links.
When a practice is built around one person, that person is the reason someone gets in touch. Her name and hello come first, and the services follow once the visitor knows who is speaking.
Yes. Hui Ling’s care, classes and KindTouch products share one site and one look. WooCommerce handles the cart and accounts, and enquiries about services go to WhatsApp.
Yes. We would start from your work and the people who come to you, so your site would have its own idea. A first meeting suited Hui Ling. Tell us about your practice and we will show you what we would do.
